A new SCCRE analysis examines the internal mobility of university graduates in Switzerland. An empirically interesting question for a country in which not all cantons run a university and therefore some students have to be mobile for their studies. Around half of the graduates return to their home canton after completing their studies. Of those who do not return, only about half remain in the canton of study. The others are movinge to a third canton. Furthermore, the results show that it is not statistically random which option students with very good academic achievements choose.
