Coordination

National level

The SCCRE supports the exchange of information among researchers in the field of education. It operates the secretariat of the Swiss Society for Research in Education (SSRE) and houses the SSRE’s archives.

SSRE

The CSSRE maintains and promotes the Network for high ability development, which brings together people who have an interest in the many issues involving the development of gifted children, be it by virtue of their profession or basic concerns as a parent.

Netzwerk Begabungsförderung

In order to facilitate interaction between researchers, practitioners, administrators and policymakers in the field of education, the SCCRE operates the administrative offices of the Swiss Conference of Directors of Cantonal Centres for Educational Research (CODICRE).

Codicre

CODICRE, the Swiss Conference of Directors of Offices for Educational Planning, School Development and Educational Research, serves as a network for the supra-regional and thematically broad exchange of information and promotes the exchange between the educational administration, various specialist organisations and professional associations as well as educational research on cantonal projects and regional developments.

The focus is on:

  • the primary school, on topics that are linked to the primary school and on cross-cutting topics
  • quality, development and management at system level

CODICRE is made up of representatives from various cantonal, regional and national educational institutions, including representatives from cantonal education and education departments as well as representatives from various Swiss educational institutions that combine administrative knowledge, educational management and educational research in their role and fulfil a coordination function (including CIRSE, IRDP, SKBF, SRED, SZH).
